Forget racism, tribalism the biggest worry....

I grew up in cobalt "tentative years" I call them, we moved there to be with my Grandparents when they retired, I was 11 or 12. And left when I was 18. I relate to this article very much in that I remember very well how "Cobalters" were looked down on and sort of ostracized by New Liskeard. It was quite the dynamic back then to say the least!! Yes, things have changed for the better throughout the years but not by much!

Hold your hats. Mayor Judy is taking charge. In the process she paid a nice compliment to North Bay and I assume His Worship Vic. Judy Pace has been in charge since her election as mayor of Temiskaming Shores. But now she is tackling economic development. This is good news for the area providing she can actually deliver the goods.
